What are the minimum hardware requirements for VisualMILL for SolidWorks?
NOTE: VisualMILL for SolidWorks runs on SolidWorks 2008(SP5)/2009/2010 only.
VisualMILL for SolidWorks does not utilize your computer resources excessively. However, we would recommend you follow the system requirements set forth by Computer and Software Requirements:

Parts (< 200 features) and assemblies (< 1000 components)
- Recommended: 1GB or more (SolidWorks 2009 and higher 2GB or higher RAM)
Parts (more than 200 features) and assemblies (more than 1000 components)
- Very large models: X64 processor with 6GB or more, parts with more than 1000 features, assemblies with more than 10000 components or models that exceed the limit of 32 bit architecture.
- Virtual memory recommended to 2X the amount of RAM.

What are the mimumum software requirements of VisualMILL for SolidWorks?
VisualMILL for SolidWorks runs on SolidWorks 2008(SP5)/2009/2010.
It works under all of the different configurations of both 32 bit and 64 bit SolidWorks products.
VisualMILL for SolidWorks will operate only in the Part mode and not in the Drawing or Assembly mode of SolidWorks.
What are the supported Operating Systems?
VisualMILL for SolidWorks works in Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Both 32 bit and 64 bit configurations are supported.
Does VisualMILL require a hardware key to run?
Yes, all commercial versions of VisualMILL for SolidWorks require a hardware key to run. Users have a choice of a parallel port key or a USB port key when placing the order. The evaluation or demo version of VisualMILL for SolidWorks does not require a hardware key.
